I know this song is old, but I still love it! Thank you Jesus for taking off Your crown and coming to earth to save a sinner like me.

Today Kierra Sheard dropped her much anticipated album Free! I heard all the tracks and its banging! Its definitely worth having in your collection. I am very hard to please, but I have to say I like all the songs. Track 6 Desire is my favorite so far. I hope she makes that her next single.
I admit that while I have always liked Kierra (she seems like she has an awesome personality), I haven’t always been a huge fan of her music. In my opinion she has always had one or two songs per album that I really liked, but the others seemed like throw aways or album fillers. I am proud to say that Free has no throw away songs or album fillers. Every song embodies that of an individual who has grown lyrically, musically, in experience and most of all in God.
While others are running around using gimmicks to sell albums, Kierra uses the anointing of God on her life and its the anointing that makes the difference!
Well done Ms. Kierra Sheard!

So Tye Tribbett wants everyone to believe he disbanded his group GA because it was time for a change. Hum, I think that’s a bunch of crap! For those of you wondering why I’m going so hard on him let me get you up to speed with this dude.
Tye Tribbett is a phenomenal gospel artist who exploded on the scene with his group Greater Anointing (GA) back in 2004 with his hit album Life. Notable songs off the album include No Way and Everything. Following the success of his debut album, Tye Tribbett dropped 3 more critically acclaimed albums with his group GA, including the 2008 release of Stand Out which has one of my favorite songs ever, Bless the Lord (Son of Man). There’s no question Tye Tribbett and GA were on their way to gospel icons until…
Early 2009 when it was discovered Tye was carrying on and affair with one of the members of the group. I’m not gonna go into full details, but you can check out the full story over at DaGospelTruth.
Anyway things went downhill from there for GA. Fast-forward to today, Tye Tribbett has a new album out called Fresh and GA… well they’re somewhere kicking rocks.
Recently Tye was somewhere explaining why he disbanded the group and he gave a lame answer that you can check out here.
I am not writing this article to bash Tye. I believe in forgiveness and if he made everything right with God and his wife then who are we to still hold him to the past. My problem is people using church rhetoric to hide their indiscretions. Saying God was bringing me into a new season, when in actuality you were caught up cheating with a member in the group is crap to me. Own up to your faults and move on or stop talking about it. Put don’t pass off garbage to God’s people. We’re a lot smarter than that.
Question of the century: If Tye Tribbett wasn’t caught cheating would he still be singing with GA?
This should be everyone’s desire.
